Medical disclaimer
Is this site medical advice?
No. Our articles summarise public guidance from sources like the NHS, NIDDK, MedlinePlus, Mayo Clinic and Monash University, linked on each page with the date we checked it. They can't replace someone who knows your history.
What does the app do, and not do?
PoopAI helps you log poop, meals and possible triggers. AI photo analysis is a logging aid and can be wrong; you can always change it. The app does not analyze poop color and does not detect disease.
When should I see a doctor?
See a GP if you have blood in your poop, a change in your poop that lasts 3 weeks or more, unexplained weight loss, or ongoing tummy pain or bloating. Get urgent help the same day for black or dark red poop or bloody diarrhea. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
