"AI poop analysis" sounds grander than it is, and we'd rather be clear. In PoopAI, AI is a shortcut for logging, not a lab test. It helps you pick a Bristol type quickly so your diary stays consistent.
Why does that matter? The Bristol scale describes poop form from type 1 (separate hard lumps) to type 7 (entirely liquid). Doctors use it because "normal" means different things to different people. A consistent label every time makes your weekly trends meaningful.

AI photo analysis suggests a Bristol type. Accept it or change it.
The entry joins your meals and trigger tags in weekly reports and trend charts.
Pick a type from 1 to 7 in a tap. Add a photo only if you want to.
Snap it and let AI pre-fill the entry. You stay in charge and can change anything.
Stealth mode shows the app as "HealthAI" on your home screen, and poop photos can be pixelated.
| It does | It doesn't |
|---|---|
| Suggest a Bristol type from your photo | Read poop color |
| Speed up logging | Look for blood, mucus or anything medical |
| Let you change the suggestion | Diagnose or rule out any condition |
| Keep photos optional | Replace a doctor's exam |
If you see blood, or poop that is black or dark red, contact a doctor. The NHS says ask for an urgent GP appointment or call 111 for black or dark red poo or bloody diarrhea. Don't wait for any app.
| Types | What they describe |
|---|---|
| 1 to 2 | Hard lumps or a lumpy sausage; often linked with constipation |
| 3 to 4 | A sausage with cracks, or smooth and soft |
| 5 to 7 | Soft blobs, mushy pieces, or entirely liquid; toward diarrhea |

Dieta Stool AI Tracker also centers on AI analysis of stool photos, on iPhone and iPad. Poopier Plus says its photo checks happen on the device and photos are never uploaded. PoopAI's store listings don't say where photos are processed, so we won't guess; ask us at the support address below. See PoopAI vs Dieta.

Fewer fields is a choice: it keeps each log to a few seconds. If you want to remember a sore tummy or a stressful day, jot a paper note next to the date.
No. Photos are optional. You can log by tapping a Bristol type.
Yes. Treat the suggestion as a head start and change it if it doesn't match what you saw.
No. PoopAI does not analyze color. If you see blood or black poop, contact a doctor rather than relying on any app.
We don't publish accuracy figures, so always review the suggestion. The log is for spotting your own patterns, not for medical decisions.
The store listings don't say, so we won't guess. See the privacy policy at docs.haaatch.com/privacy or email poopai@haaatch.com.
The Google Play listing says poop pictures are pixelated, and stealth "HealthAI" mode disguises the app icon.
Google Play's Data safety section says PoopAI collects and shares no data, encrypts data in transit and lets you request deletion. The App Store label says contact info may be linked to you and health data is not. The full policy is at docs.haaatch.com/privacy.
